WILLIAM SUH, B.S.B.E., M.S., D.C.*

William Suh double-majored in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Miami (Coral Gables, Florida, USA) under a four-year academic scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with Honors (General Honors Program).  While he was there, he received two additional Engineering scholarships for his hard work and dedication to his studies. He continued studying engineering and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Urbana, Illinois, USA) with a Master of Science in General Engineering (currently the Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering) with a full academic scholarship which also included a Teaching Assistantship (TA) during the normal semesters, and a Research Assistantship (RA) during the summer semesters which included a monthly stipend for the whole duration of his graduate degree.

The switch from Biomedical Engineering to Systems Engineering was not necessarily his decision, but was purely based on the available thesis topics within the current faculty.  After graduate school, William Suh worked on rocket navigation guidance systems, for both domestic and US Military applications, as a Systems Engineer for six years.
